There are many reasons making single Western men look for Russian brides:
· Usually the age difference between spouses in the Western culture is not big. For example, men of 45-50 are not likely to marry women younger than 40. An appealing perspective of marrying a comparatively young Russian woman still capable of having children makes single Western men hopeful and eager to start their lives anew, especially when they are of middle age and have a negative experience of previous relationships.
· Western men might find Russian culture unique and amusing, and are eager to connect their lives with the women belonging to this wonderful culture.
· Disappointment with Western women is another common reason why single Western men start looking for Russian wives. Many men are attracted to them because they are more feminine and traditional as regards gender roles.
· Getting married to a Russian lady works really well for many Western men. There are a lot of international couples that succeeded in making their relationships fulfilling and loving. There are negative examples, too. The usual reasons for not being successful in building a happy family are problems with the woman's adaptation to the new environment, both partners' unrealistic expectations that were not discussed before the marriage, and inability to achieve mutual understanding.
