Understanding Russian Women

Russian women have much in common: they are sensual, womanly and keen. Each of them has a unique personality, vision of the world and beauty.

Russian literature has always portrayed the rare virtues of Russian women, such as the ability to remain strong and beautiful from inside in spite of all the hardships in their lives. One well-known poetry quotation says that in case of necessity, a Russian woman will “rein up a horse, or enter a burning building.”

Since ancient times, Russian girls grew up performing hard work together with men. In grief, women were the ones who supported and cemented their families and communities. From this historical perspective, Russian women are not afraid of challenges, because they have strong character and will.

In addition, during the Soviet times, girls were raised to be responsible and giving. Strong family and social values were the cornerstone of bringing up children. It influenced the mentality of women who lived at that time, and such values are still strong in many of their descendants, who have developed the same features as their mothers: responsibility, honesty and dedication to their families.

That is why Russian women are so family-focused: they make loyal wives and wonderful mothers. Usually they are amazingly good cooks and cordial hostesses.
