Russian ladies make good and supportive wives, but before proposing to your sweetheart it is wise to get to know her family better.

Russian people usually have very tight family relations and are used to relying on each other. It is very common when older and younger generations of one family live under the same roof. Individualism and egocentrism are foreign to traditional upbringing in Russian families. Family is still one of the highest values in the Russian culture.
